It’s been nearly two years now that Cooper has been shooting photographs on his trips around the neighborhood. A lot of people ask us about what we’ve seen that surprises us. The biggest surprise is that we haven’t seen any photos of birds or squirrels! We imagine that some day that Cooper may come home with evidence that helps the Seattle Police Department crack a big case they’re working on (maybe capturing a cat burglar)… but that hasn’t happened yet either. But we have seen some interesting peeks into the lives of our neighbors.
When we got new neighbors next door, Cooper met them before we did. The story goes that the neighbors’ dogs were going bonkers one afternoon up in the second floor bathroom. They run up there to find our intrepid photographer “treed” on top of the linen cabinet by their chocolate lab and German shorthaired pointer! The neighbors called the dogs off and gently escorted Cooper out of the house. Too bad he wasn’t carrying his camera that day!
In this shot you can see that Cooper has been hanging out in the neighbor’s garage. Cooper, could you pass me a wrench?
Cooper appears to have staked out a good spot for an ambush.
Here’s another funny one looking into someone’s dining room from on top of a fence! It must be all the bird statues that caught his attention…
Secret Agent Cooper is lurking in enemy territory! Be careful – don’t let the dog come home to find you in there!
Cooper has returned and debriefed from today’s mission, all wound up from a day of stealth photography. A long nap by the window will do just the trick.
