Getting on Animal Planet

When the producer, Andrea, from Animal Planet called back in October it seemed like such a fluke. She found out about Cooper from Mr. Lee’s Cat-Cam site, where he is a featured cat photographer. Apparently there are a lot of “crazy cat ladies” out there, so she was excited to see that Michael & I were “normal”.

About a week later Andrea flew out and hired a local crew, Mark Simon and Elija Lawson. I took the afternoon off work and we let them take over our house. Michael was interviewed for nearly an hour and my interview was about 30 minutes. Then we put Cooper’s Cat-Cam on and they followed Cooper around the house and yard for quite awhile too.

Our part in the finished episode of Cats 101 was around 1 minute. Sigh.

Cooper is currently snuggled into his heated cat bed with his favorite stuffed animal, Little Pierson.

Your Cooper article surely was one of the highest points of my Saturday. I was on Yahoo searching for something totally unrelated when the title caught my attention. I’m glad I took the time to read your Cooper post!
